AN OPEN CONVERSATION ABOUT ASTROLOGY

Ask questions, understand the meaning and grow through practice.
WHY STUDY ASTROLOGY?
Have you looked at a birth chart and wondered how its boxes, numbers and planets become an interpretation? Or heard an astrological claim and asked:what is it based on?
That is a good place to begin. Learn what the terms mean, examine the context of each rule and work towards a reading you can explain. Over time, the ideas in a text and their use in a chart begin to connect.
The texts behind the courseStudy the ideas through which the astrological tradition approaches temperament, action and time.
Learn to consider a planet or combination alongside its house, strength and place in the whole chart.
Build a foundation for reading classical works, studying periods and transits, and eventually learning consultation through experience.
THE VEDANGA TRADITION · PARASHARI STUDY
Read the principle. Discuss its meaning.
Then examine its use in a chart.
Jyotisha is counted among the six Vedangas. Calculating the timing of rituals had an important place in that tradition. Reference: IGNCA’s Vedic Heritage Portal ↗

About me
Astrologer · Numerologist · Founder, AstroVedansh
Namaste. I want you to understand both what an astrological principle means and how to examine it in a chart. My own studies have brought together classical texts, teachers’ guidance and chart practice. That is the approach we will follow in this course.
I invite you to approach this course in the same way. We will work through principles in plain language, examine examples and discuss the reasoning behind your interpretation. Your questions will be an essential part of the study.

The study process: principle → observation → interpretation → written practice.

After studying a classical principle, we will pause over examples. Explain what you noticed, which rule you applied and where you became unsure. These discussions help turn an idea from a book into something you understand for yourself.
Learn to make the basis of your reading clear.
Two classes of 2 hours each week. Continue the practice between classes with notes, revision and homework.
Key takeaways and quick questions.
Definitions, reasoning and a clear framework.

Your own 2–3 page reading, with the reasoning.
WHERE CAN THIS LEAD?
Your next step will depend on your interests,
practice and further preparation.
Read classical works with greater understanding, keep your own study notes and go further into periods, transits and other subjects.
After advanced study and sufficient guided practice, work towards independent consultations within the limits of your competence.
As your understanding and experience grow, explain the subject responsibly through articles, videos or workshops.
Document chart observations, compare interpretations and examine both agreements and differences.
In this course: foundations and basic D1 interpretation. Afterwards: advanced study, guided practice and experience in your chosen area.
HOW MUCH COULD YOU EARN?
If you would like to offer paid consultations in the future, invest time in sound study and responsible practice now. Advanced learning and guided case practice after this foundation can prepare you for that direction.
